I was just finishing typing up the preschool newsletter for this month and I always end by thanking the parents for entrusting us with their greatest treasure--their child. As a teacher and a parent I know that parents send the very best they have and I look at my surly high school students sometimes and think "someone loves him just like I love my boys". I hope these thoughts have crossed Andres' teachers' minds before. He is my greatest treasure and right now I don't feel like entrusting him to anyone. Tomorrow night is open house and I will meet his teachers--Mr. Juan Carlos and Ms. Rita. There are five days left--I hope I can do this. . . .
